This weekend was way too fabulous. To celebrate our dear friend leaving her job of many years, we sent out an email to a bunch of her close friends, asking them to record a good luck video message AND to lip sync along to her favorite song, Stevie Wonder's 'You Are the Sunshine of My Life'. This amazing video was the inspiration (you seriously have to see it). In less than 1 week, videos came pouring in via email, one from as far away as Spain- 32 people participated! Another friend edited all of the videos and we threw a surprise screening party this weekend. So as not to embarrass the 29 other 'singers', I'm only including screen shots from our recording (set against a backdrop of renovation construction), but trust me, the video in it's entirety is hysterical. Even better than that, though, it shows how much we love our mutual friend and acts as a reminder of how many fun people we know. Thanks to everyone who participated/helped and thanks to K. for being the reason.
