Our EZ E started kindergarten today. He woke up a little before 7 AM, ate breakfast, pulled on his 1st day outfit (skull and crossbones khakis and a silly monkey shirt), loaded up his backpack, marked his height on our door, and hammed it up for the camera.
The minute he stepped on the bus I became an absolute blubbering mess. A mess!!! I think a Beastie Boys dance party is the only thing that will cure the funk I'm in. Kicky and I are off to dance. Happy school year, everyone!

We picked the sunflower from the kids' garden. EZ E gave it to his bus driver with a note attached, wishing her a happy school year.
